The Hotel Bakker in Vorden was such a charming place to stay. The decoration was lovely, with beautiful furniture and cozy corners where I could relax with a cup of tea. The hotel's general areas were well-maintained and accessible for senior people like me. I particularly enjoyed the peaceful garden where I could enjoy my breakfast and the delightful ambiance of the restaurant during dinner. The location was also perfect, with shops and cafes nearby and a convenient parking lot.
The only thing I would ask for a better vacation for senior people is for the staff to be a bit more attentive. Although the children working there were polite, I would have appreciated more assistance and guidance during my stay.

The staff provided excellent service and the basic amenities were all up to standard. Additionally, the breakfast buffet was outstanding, with a great variety of options to choose from.
No improvements needed, everything was just right.

The hotel is perfectly situated in a lovely area close to the centre of town. You can easily walk to all the sights and local attractions. the service is top-notch with friendly staff that treats you like royalty. the breakfast is excellent with a wide variety of pastries, fruits, and cheeses. the rooms are spacious and comfortable, with a great view of the town's marketplace and the nicely lit church at night. the bathrooms are luxurious and well-appointed with both a bath and a shower.
The only issue we encountered was some noise from the adjacent room. it was only a minor inconvenience and didn't detract from our overall positive experience.

The location of this hotel was perfect for exploring the nearby village, with easy access to rural walks and cycling paths. The staff was friendly and always willing to help, making my stay feel more personal. the breakfast provided was quite good and included a variety of options.
It was not as clean as I had hoped, with visible dust on some surfaces and a stale smell in the air. The bed was uncomfortable and made it difficult to get a good night's sleep.
